Double Spacing In Word

Click the down arrow next to the line spacing box.

Double spacing in word. Press ctrl 2 pc or command 2 mac. Newer versions office 2007 2010 to double space the whole document go to design paragraph spacing and choose double. You can double space all or part of a word document.

Select double and click the ok button. Press ctrl 1 pc or command 1 mac. This will give you double spacing.

Learn the keyboard shortcuts. Click the line and paragraph spacing button. A drop down menu will appear.

It s the one looking like text with two blue arrows pointing up and down. Select the paragraph or paragraphs you want to adjust. This will give you 1 5 line spacing.

The options here range from 1 0 which adds no extra space between lines to 3 0 where the spacing for each line is triple that of a single spaced line. Press ctrl 5 pc or command 5 mac. Adding double spacing to portions of your text select the text you want to have double spacing.

A list of line spacing options appears. In the home tab look at the paragraph group. To double space only part of the document select the paragraphs you want to change go to home line and paragraph spacing and choose 2 0.
