Table Space
A database consists of one or more tablespaces each made up of one or more data files.
Table space. Tables and indexes are created within a particular tablespace. A tablespace is a container for segments tables indexes etc. Table space is a hotspot in the kitchen and dining room of a player owned house that is only visible to the player when in building mode.
Therefore the sysaux tablespace is always created during database creation or database upgrade. A tablespace is a logical group of data files in a database. Within the database the tablespace plays a role similar to that of a folder on the hard drive of a computer.
It provides a layer of abstraction between physical and logical data and serves to allocate storage for all dbms managed segments.
